Son, Brandon's, Birthday dinner

Brandon loves Mar Far chicken, but his birthday is in the summer, and Mar Far is fried in hot oil, so it's often too hot to make it. This summer wasn't too bad. My recipe is from an old friend:
Mar Far Chicken

cut up boneless chicken breasts

shake in a dry mix:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp dry milk powder

dip in batter:
1 beaten egg
1/3 cup water
1 tbsp oil
you can slice the green tops of green onions and add if you want

fry in hot oil
